IMAX EXPERIENCE is a documentary exploring the world of IMAX 70mm film projection.

Filmed at Cinema City Flora IMAX in Prague, the film takes a closer look at the technology and craftsmanship behind the format — from the physical 70mm film and projection system to the intricate process of bringing each frame to the screen.

Through a conversation with projectionist Tomáš Vyšinský, I explore what makes IMAX 70mm unique, how the projection system works, and why this remarkable analogue format continues to hold a special place in cinema.

At its heart, this is a film about the beauty of the large-format image, the people behind the projection booth, and the enduring magic of cinema.
